Daily Creativity #39: Write a Poem Inspired by a Breugel Painting

Study this painting for at least five minutes (set a timer!), zooming in to get a better look and taking notes on what you notice. Then write a 16-line poem about it.

The artwork we are referring you to for this exercise is called The Procession to Calvary, painted by Pieter Breugel the Elder in 1564. It measures 124 cm × 170 cm (49 in × 67 in) and is in the collection of the Kunsthistorisches Museum, Vienna, Austria.
