A New World… a poem by Elias, 9

Elias Grigoresco, 9

2020

The year started fine

then the problems came in a line

The masks were slapped on

The schools were knocked out

The toilet paper went bye

The deaths said “hi”

It expanded, it grew

The house became our world

Our world had changed

It was rearranged

My life became small

Everything on a call

My whole life on a screen

Wait there’s a vaccine?

Will

we

be

fine

after

all?
