Hi, today I am going to tell you what I did for Diwali. For us, Diwali started on Friday, November 14th and ended on Monday, November 18th.
First Day of Diwali
The first day was "Naraka Chathurdasi." I woke up early and brushed my teeth. My mom put tilak on my forehead. Then, she applied oil to all the family members. After that, I took an oil bath. Then, I prayed to god.

2020 was supposed to be our year
It was the year guaranteed to make us all cheer

Coronavirus- nothing to fear
Kobe’s death, what could be worse?
Throughout the world armies did disperse
Confirmed alien sightings, we’re not alone in this universe
Words of warning from my mother the nurse
Rumors of schools ...

Did you know math can be art? I have been doing virtual school since March and I came across in one of my assignments a way of drawing a times table. First, you need to draw a circle like a clock. Make 0 be the 12 on the clock and make 5 be across from 0. It should look like this:
Let’s assume you want to draw the 2 times tables.
1993, Washington DC—
a new voice was being added to the Supreme Court.
It was the voice of Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
It was a young voice, but it was strong.
And though she was young, she sang as loud as she could in the choir of the Supreme Court.
She was different from anyone there, but she still sang loud and bright and beautifully in the court.
If life were upside down
Imagine life were turned around
Imagine everything you thought you knew
Everything you loved to do
Was flipped
Would you be you?
If life were upside down
You could give up, let go
And fall
If life were upside down
You could cling on
to the last shred of hope
If life were upside down
Black lives matter, so do white’s
but what’s going on, is not right.
We stand for freedom. We stand for equal rights,
but racial unfairness have taken many lives.
We need change and we need it now.
Of course, that’s what people have been saying for years now.
This is a movement, let’s have a talk.
Free your mind and make change as we walk.

I wish I hadn’t said it out. Alas!
2020 was a disastrous year, but many good things came out of it. There’s a quote that says, “Sometimes you have to put up with the rain to get to the rainbow.” But we didn’t only put up with the rain, we fought through it. There was a terrible virus, a president who divided us, and heroes who died fighting. This is our story.
